The Greater Hartford Maker Faire (Sat, Oct. 3rd)-- The Maker Faire is the Greatest Show (and Tell) on Earth—a family-friendly showcase of invention, creativity and resourcefulness, and a celebration of the Maker Movement. It’s a place where people show what they are making, and share what they are learning. FREE

Feel the Beat: Exploring the Intersection of Music and STEM (Sat, Oct. 10th)-- Join forces with National Society of Black Engineers (NSBE) members and over 100 sixth through 9th grade students to explore the fascinating intersection of music AND science, technology, engineering and math (STEM)! The student will explore the "Wild Music" exhibit at the Connecticut Science Center for inspiration to build an Arduino-controlled sound device that could compete with the best of them! FREE

ESPN STEAMFest (Sat, Oct. 24th)-- The Boys & Girls Club of Bristol Family Center and ESPN presents STEAMFest 2015. This event will offer a variety of activities, presentations and displays centering around Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Mathematics (STEAM) for students and their families. This event is free and open to the public. FREE
