Granville Academy of Waterbury elementary school students got their gloves dirty this Tuesday to "Take Apart" donated electronics and get an idea of how things work. This exercise was apart of the larger curriculum supported by Connecticut Invention Convention that leads students through a series of activities to help them generate ideas, design, and develop inventions. The students enjoyed taking an insider look at common househouse appliances, and even got their hands on some out-of-date VCRs and music recording devices. Who knew machine guts would be soo interesting??
